Capturing the elusive dance of light and shadow, my oil painting is a semi-abstract interpretation of nature's vastness. Here, emotions swirl like the clouds above rolling dunes. Its essence is meant to evoke contemplation and serenity, a conversation between earth and sky in bold, textured strokes applied with palette knives. It will breathe a dynamic energy into any space, a piece of the eternal horizon's tranquility for your home. Sand dunes have been an inspiration to me since my artist residency in Cape Cod National Seashore in Provincetown MA. I lived in a primitive shack in the dunes.
