Kim McAninch created this series of small work on paper in Provincetown MA at a Dune Shack Residency awarded by the Peaked Hill Trust. The intent in the artist's proposal was to explore composition on a small scale with ink, oil, acrylic, pastel and pencil. There were 11 works on paper completed in 2 weeks on the bluffs above the Atlantic ocean. This abstract sunset has purposeful marks, fully exhibiting the artist's view from the deck of the dune shack.
