Kim McAninch has created an imagined, cascading landscape centered in architecture in this very large vertical painting.  This painting is unique as her palette is bright, nearing fluorescent transitioning to a high contrast, black.  The complex layering of pastel, pencil, acrylic and oil gives texture and the energy found in all of her work.  Inspired by travel, this completely fictional rural depiction begs the viewer to add personal experience.
